🎯 Who is this job for?

This role is suitable for a Senior Web Developer with 5+ years of experience building and maintaining marketing websites and landing pages. The ideal candidate has strong skills in HTML, CSS/SASS, JavaScript, Vue.js, Nuxt.js, REST APIs, GraphQL, headless CMS platforms, responsive cross-browser development, SEO, analytics, and conversion tracking. They should be familiar with implementing campaigns, lead-capture forms, testing, debugging, documentation, website monitoring, and collaborating with marketing, design, SEO, and cross-functional teams.

💬 Potential Interview Questions

How would you structure a Nuxt.js website to support both server-side rendering and static generation?

I would use server-side rendering for dynamic, SEO-sensitive pages and static generation for content that changes infrequently, such as campaign landing pages. Nuxt’s routing, data-fetching, and deployment configuration should be organized so each page uses the rendering strategy that best supports performance, freshness, and SEO.

What are the main benefits of Vue.js’s virtual DOM, and how can you optimize component performance?

The virtual DOM allows Vue to efficiently compare UI changes and update only the affected parts of the real DOM. I would optimize performance by using stable keys, avoiding unnecessary reactive state, splitting large components, and lazy-loading components or routes when appropriate.

How would you design reusable, responsive components using HTML, CSS, and SCSS?

I would build semantic HTML structures, define reusable SCSS variables and mixins, and use a consistent component naming convention such as BEM. Responsive layouts would rely on flexible units, CSS Grid or Flexbox, mobile-first breakpoints, and accessibility-conscious interaction states.

How would you integrate a headless CMS such as Storyblok with a Nuxt.js application?

I would configure the Storyblok API client, retrieve content through Nuxt data-fetching methods, and map CMS components to reusable Vue components. I would also implement preview support, caching, error handling, and webhook-triggered rebuilds or revalidation for published content.

What is the difference between REST and GraphQL, and when would you choose each?

REST exposes resources through multiple endpoints, while GraphQL allows clients to request precisely the fields they need through a single query endpoint. I would choose REST for straightforward, cache-friendly integrations and GraphQL when flexible data selection or combining related resources is important.

How would you implement reliable conversion tracking with Google Tag Manager, GA4, and Meta Conversions API?

I would define a consistent event and parameter schema, trigger events through a controlled data layer, and configure GA4 and advertising tags in Google Tag Manager. For Meta CAPI, I would send server-side events with appropriate identifiers and deduplication using event IDs, while validating consent, attribution, and reporting accuracy.

How would you implement and troubleshoot Pardot or MCAE forms integrated with Salesforce?

I would configure the form and hidden attribution fields, preserve campaign and UTM values, and validate field mappings and completion actions. I would test submissions through the full Salesforce flow, checking lead creation, campaign association, duplicate handling, and analytics events across staging and production.

What technical SEO practices are important when developing a marketing website with Nuxt?

I would implement server-rendered or statically generated content, accurate metadata, canonical URLs, structured data, XML sitemaps, robots directives, optimized headings, and accessible semantic markup. I would also monitor Core Web Vitals, indexing, structured data, and search issues using GA4 and Google Search Console.

How would you approach cross-browser and mobile testing for a new website component?

I would test the component across supported browsers, operating systems, screen sizes, input methods, and network conditions using automated and manual checks. I would verify layout, functionality, accessibility, performance, and graceful behavior when JavaScript or external services fail.

What testing and debugging practices would you use before releasing website changes?

I would write unit tests for component logic and utility functions, add integration or end-to-end tests for important user flows, and run linting and build checks in CI. For debugging, I would reproduce the issue, inspect browser and server logs, isolate the failing layer, and validate the fix with regression testing.
