I would use an efficient framework such as Fastify, schema-based validation, connection pooling, and asynchronous I/O. I would also profile latency, optimize database queries, add appropriate caching, and deploy behind an AWS load balancer with autoscaling.

How would you implement secure multi-tenancy with PostgreSQL Row-Level Security?

I would associate every record with a tenant identifier and enforce access through PostgreSQL RLS policies rather than relying only on application filters. The tenant context must be set securely per transaction, with separate roles and strict tests to prevent cross-tenant data access.

What are the main considerations when integrating third-party services through SDKs?

I would isolate the integration behind an internal adapter, validate all external data, and handle timeouts, retries, rate limits, idempotency, and provider-specific errors. Secrets should be managed through AWS services such as Secrets Manager, with observability and contract tests around the integration.

How do you manage PostgreSQL schema migrations in a production system?
