💬 Potential Interview Questions

1. How would you build a responsive landing page using HTML5 and CSS3?

I would use semantic HTML5 elements, a mobile-first layout, and CSS techniques such as Flexbox, Grid, media queries, and responsive units. I would also test the page across common screen sizes and browsers.

2. What are the main features introduced in ES2017 that you have used?

Common ES2017 features include async/await, object entries and values, string padding, and trailing commas in function parameters. Async/await is particularly useful for making REST API calls easier to read and maintain.

3. How would you structure a reusable component in Vue.js?

I would separate the component into a template, script, and style section, define clear props and emitted events, and keep the component focused on one responsibility. Reusable behavior can be extracted into shared components, computed properties, or methods.

4. How do JavaScript classes and inheritance support object-oriented development?

Classes provide a structure for creating objects with shared properties and methods, while inheritance allows one class to extend another. Encapsulation, inheritance, and polymorphism help organize reusable JavaScript functionality and UI components.

5. How would you consume a REST API in a front-end application?

I would use fetch or a suitable HTTP library to send requests, handle loading and error states, validate the response, and update the UI with the returned data. I would also consider authentication, HTTP status codes, and avoiding unnecessary requests.

6. What is GIT Flow, and how would you use it on a development task?

GIT Flow typically uses branches such as main, develop, feature, release, and hotfix. I would create a feature branch from the appropriate base branch, commit focused changes, open a pull request, resolve review feedback, and merge according to the team workflow.

7. How can Gulp or Node.js scripts automate front-end development?

Gulp tasks can automate processes such as compiling assets, minifying files, optimizing images, watching source changes, and preparing production builds. Node.js and npm provide the runtime and package management needed to configure these tasks.

8. What techniques would you use to improve web performance?

I would minify and bundle assets, optimize images, reduce unnecessary JavaScript, enable caching, lazy-load suitable content, and avoid expensive DOM operations. I would measure improvements using browser developer tools and performance auditing tools.

9. How would you debug a JavaScript animation or responsive layout issue?

I would reproduce the issue, inspect the DOM and computed styles, use breakpoints and console logging, and check for JavaScript errors or incorrect event handling. I would test the fix across browsers and viewport sizes before committing it.

10. What should you consider when creating HTML emails and CLM content?

I would prioritize responsive layouts, table-based email structures where required, inline CSS, limited browser-specific features, and testing in different email clients or CLM environments. Content should also be reusable, accessible, analytics-ready, and compatible with the target platform.
