🎯 Who is this job for?

This role is suitable for a Senior Frontend Engineer with strong experience building secure, high-performance financial or Web3 applications, particularly DEXs and stablecoin products.

The candidate should be proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ES6, TypeScript, React, MV*/Flux architecture, responsive design, Sass or Less, Webpack, Babel, ESLint, HTTP, and web security practices such as XSS and CSRF prevention.

They should be familiar with designing, developing, optimizing, and maintaining frontend systems; improving UX and performance; ensuring stability and compatibility; collaborating with product teams; and preferably building DApps, integrating smart contracts, using mobile technologies, and applying AI-assisted coding tools.

💬 Potential Interview Questions

How would you architect a React and TypeScript frontend for a stablecoin trading or payment product?

I would separate presentation, domain, and data-access layers, using typed APIs and a predictable state model such as Redux or another Flux-based architecture. Financial calculations, transaction states, wallet connectivity, and error handling should be isolated into testable modules.

How would you manage state and data flow in a complex DEX or Web3 application?

I would use a single-direction data flow with clearly defined actions, reducers or state transitions, and selectors. Wallet state, network status, token balances, quotes, allowances, and transaction lifecycle should have distinct ownership and be synchronized carefully with blockchain events.

How would you optimize the performance of a financial dashboard used on mobile and desktop?

I would measure real-user performance first, then optimize bundle size, code splitting, lazy loading, rendering frequency, network requests, and asset delivery. React memoization, virtualization, caching, and efficient polling or event subscriptions can improve responsiveness without sacrificing data accuracy.

What steps would you take to ensure responsive layout compatibility across browsers and devices?

I would use mobile-first CSS with flexbox or grid, responsive breakpoints, accessible component patterns, and carefully chosen Sass or Less abstractions. I would validate behavior using browser compatibility testing, automated visual tests, and real devices, especially for wallet and transaction flows.

How do you secure a frontend application that handles stablecoins and wallet transactions?

I would prevent XSS through output encoding, safe rendering, strict Content Security Policy, and careful dependency management, while using appropriate CSRF protections where cookie-based authentication exists. Private keys should never be handled by the application, and transaction details must be validated, clearly displayed, and protected against tampering or phishing patterns.

How would you integrate a DApp with a smart contract?

I would use a well-reviewed wallet and Web3 library to connect accounts, detect networks, read contract state, estimate gas, and submit typed transactions. The UI should handle wallet rejection, unsupported chains, allowance approval, pending confirmations, failures, and confirmation through reliable event or receipt monitoring.

What is your approach to configuring Webpack, Babel, and ESLint for a production frontend?

I would configure Babel or an equivalent compiler for the required browser targets, use Webpack for environment-specific builds, tree shaking, chunking, asset processing, and source-map controls. ESLint and TypeScript checks should run in development and CI with rules that enforce consistency, prevent unsafe patterns, and protect build quality.

How would you design transaction and error states for a stablecoin product?

I would model the lifecycle explicitly, for example idle, validating, awaiting approval, submitting, pending confirmation, confirmed, and failed. Each state should provide actionable feedback, preserve relevant identifiers such as transaction hashes, avoid duplicate submissions, and support retry or recovery where safe.

How would you test a high-stakes frontend for correctness and stability?

I would combine unit tests for calculations and state transitions, component tests for user interactions, integration tests for API and wallet flows, and end-to-end tests for critical journeys. I would also add type checking, linting, performance budgets, security scanning, monitoring, and regression tests for different networks and failure conditions.

How can AI coding tools such as Claude Code be used responsibly in frontend development?

AI tools can accelerate scaffolding, refactoring, test generation, and investigation, but generated code must be reviewed for security, financial correctness, performance, and licensing concerns. I would provide focused context, keep changes small, run tests and static analysis, and never expose secrets or rely on AI output without human verification.
