🎯 Who is this job for?

This role is suitable for a Senior Frontend Software Engineer with at least five years of professional React.js experience and advanced English communication skills. The candidate should be proficient in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, responsive UI development, GraphQL or REST APIs, web accessibility, Agile/Kanban practices, and preferably state management and frontend testing tools. 💬 Potential Interview Questions

How would you structure a complex React application to keep it scalable and maintainable?

I would organize the application by features or domains, separating components, hooks, services, state, and tests. I would also establish clear boundaries, use reusable presentational components, and document key architectural decisions.

How do you optimize the performance of a React application?

I would measure performance first using browser profiling and tools such as Lighthouse. Common improvements include memoization, code splitting, lazy loading, efficient list rendering, minimizing unnecessary re-renders, and optimizing API requests.

What is the difference between controlled and uncontrolled components in React?

Controlled components store their value in React state, making the component behavior explicit and easy to validate. Uncontrolled components keep their value in the DOM and are accessed through refs, which can be useful for simpler forms or integration with non-React code.

How would you manage global state in a React application?

I would keep local UI state within components and use a state management solution such as Redux for shared, complex, or long-lived state. The state structure should be predictable, normalized where appropriate, and updated through clearly defined actions or reducers.

How would you design a frontend integration with GraphQL or REST APIs?

I would isolate API communication in dedicated services or hooks, define consistent loading and error states, and validate the response shape. For GraphQL, I would use focused queries and mutations, while for REST I would standardize resource methods, caching, and error handling.

How do you ensure that a responsive interface works across different devices?

I use a mobile-first layout with flexible grids, responsive units, and CSS media queries. I also test at representative viewport sizes and verify touch interactions, typography, images, and content behavior on both mobile and desktop devices.

What practices do you follow to make a React application accessible according to WCAG?

I use semantic HTML, keyboard-accessible controls, appropriate labels, visible focus states, sufficient color contrast, and meaningful alternative text. I also test with automated accessibility tools and, when possible, screen readers and keyboard-only navigation.

How would you test a React component or user workflow?

I would use Jest with a React testing library for unit and integration tests that verify behavior from the user’s perspective. For critical end-to-end workflows, I would use Cypress to test realistic interactions, API states, navigation, and error scenarios.

How do you troubleshoot a frontend issue that occurs only in production?

I would reproduce the issue using production-like data and configuration, then inspect logs, monitoring information, source maps, network requests, and browser differences. I would isolate the root cause, create a regression test, and deploy a minimal, verified fix.

How do you collaborate with designers and backend engineers in an Agile or Kanban team?

I clarify requirements, API contracts, accessibility expectations, and responsive behavior before implementation, while raising risks early. I keep work visible in tools such as Atlassian Cloud, provide regular updates, participate in reviews, and give constructive feedback through the delivery process.
