Sr. Software Engineer (UI)

As vCluster Labs’ Sr. Software Engineer (UI), you aren’t just building screens; you are defining the user experience for Platform Engineers and the builders of AI factories and Neoclouds. In this role, you will be the owner of the frontend architecture for the vCluster platform, tasked with translating complex Kubernetes and GPU virtualization concepts into intuitive, efficient interfaces that power the next generation of compute.

As a Sr. Software Engineer (UI), your role will include:

• User-Centric Implementation: Build interfaces that prioritize efficiency, ensuring users can accomplish their tasks quickly and effectively without friction.

• Platform UI Development: Focus on implementing high-quality UI within the specific context of Kubernetes and the vCluster platform.

• Modern Stack Execution: Utilize React and Tailwind CSS to build scalable and maintainable frontend components.

• Design Collaboration: Work to achieve a high standard of UI execution, aiming for the polish and usability found in best-in-class tools.

• Start-Up Grit: Experience working in a high-growth environment. You are comfortable with ambiguity and are willing to build the playbook, not just read it.

This role could be a fit for you if you bring:

• Experience: 4+ years of software engineering experience, with a focus on frontend development.

• Proven Consistency: A history of longevity, having stayed at a company for at least 2+ years to see projects through to maturity.

• Technical Aptitude: You possess strong fundamentals in CSS, HTML, and JavaScript. While you know frameworks, you understand the core technologies underneath them.

• Tech Stack Proficiency: Experience working with React and Tailwind CSS (or comparable frameworks).

• Product Mindset: You define good UI not just by aesthetics, but by how well it enables users to accomplish their tasks efficiently.

Bonus points for:

• Domain Expertise: Familiarity with the context of Kubernetes, DevOps, or Infrastructure.

• Component Libraries: Experience using RADIX for UI primitives.

• Startup Experience: You have been at an early-stage organization where you function autonomously and strive towards building something great.
