About the Role

We are seeking a talented and entrepreneurial Full Stack Engineer to join our team and drive growth initiatives at Meshy. In this role, you will work at the intersection of engineering, product, and data to design and implement features that directly impact our user acquisition, activation, retention, and monetization.
You will own and build end-to-end features, run experiments, and build the technical infrastructure that supports rapid iteration and measurable product impact. If you enjoy fast feedback loops, thrive in ambiguity, and love to translate ideas into outcomes, this role is for you.

What You’ll Do:

  • Build, launch, and iterate on full-stack product features that drive user and business growth
  • Design and implement experiments to validate growth hypotheses quickly and efficiently
  • Collaborate closely with product, design, data, and marketing teams to identify opportunities and deliver impactful solutions
  • Optimize critical funnels (e.g. onboarding, conversion, activation) through instrumentation and iteration
  • Contribute to our internal growth tooling and experimentation infrastructure
  • Translate business insights and user feedback into scalable engineering solutions

What We're looking for:

  • Have 3+ years of software engineering experience in full-stack or product-facing roles
  • Are proficient in JavaScript or Go, and modern product development practices
  • Have strong product instincts and enjoy collaborating on user-facing features
  • Are curious about how products grow, and excited by the idea of solving problems with both code and creativity
  • Are comfortable with experimentation, and understand that not everything you ship will succeed — but every iteration teaches you something
  • Write clean, maintainable code and move fast
  • Fluent with modern AI dev (Cursor/Claude) tools

Nice to Have:

  • Experience working on SaaS products, especially those with self-serve or PLG motion
  • Familiarity with A/B testing, funnel analysis, or product analytics tools (e.g. Amplitude, Mixpanel)
  • Experience implementing or consuming event tracking pipelines
  • Some exposure to SQL or other data querying tools
  • Previous experience in a startup or fast-paced, cross-functional environment
  • Located in or near one of our employee hubs — e.g. SF Bay Area, Los Angeles, Seattle, Vancouver, Toronto, or New York — for easier collaboration and occasional in-person meetups

Our Values

  • Brain: We value intelligence and the pursuit of knowledge. Our team is composed of some of the brightest minds in the industry.
  • Heart: We care deeply about our work, our users, and each other. Empathy and passion drive us forward.
  • Gut: We trust our instincts and are not afraid to take bold risks. Innovation requires courage.
  • Taste: We have a keen eye for quality and aesthetics. Our products are not just functional but also beautiful.

Why Join Meshy?

  • Competitive salary, equity, and benefits package.
  • Opportunity to work with a talented and passionate team at the forefront of AI and 3D technology.
  • Flexible work environment, with options for remote and on-site work.
  • Opportunities for fast professional growth and development.
  • An inclusive culture that values creativity, innovation, and collaboration.
  • Unlimited, flexible time off.

Benefits

  • Stock options available for core team members.
  • 401(k) plan for employees.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.
  • The latest and best office equipment.

🎯 Who is this job for?

This role is ideal for a Full Stack Engineer with 3+ years of experience in JavaScript or Go, passionate about growth-focused development in a fast-moving AI startup. Candidates should be comfortable building user-facing features, running experiments, optimizing funnels, and working cross-functionally. Great fit for those with SaaS, PLG, or analytics experience and an interest in 3D or generative AI technologies.

πŸ’¬ Potential Interview Questions

  1. How do you prioritize speed and quality when building growth-focused product features?
I ship MVPs quickly with clear success metrics, use feature flags for safe testing, write modular code for future scaling, and balance experimentation with code reviews and testing.

  2. Describe your experience building full-stack applications that drive user acquisition or retention.
I’ve implemented sign-up/onboarding flows, built analytics dashboards, A/B tested CTAs or layout variants, and iteratively optimized funnels based on Mixpanel/Amplitude insights.

  3. What’s your approach to implementing and analyzing A/B tests in a product-led growth (PLG) environment?
I define control/variant logic, use a metrics pipeline (e.g., via Segment/Amplitude), validate statistical significance, and translate test outcomes into product iteration plans.

  4. How do you handle experimentation infrastructure in a fast-moving growth team?
I abstract experiment toggles, define clear success KPIs, log user interactions via event tracking, and store test data for easy analysis in SQL or analytics tools.

  5. What are best practices when building conversion-critical flows like onboarding or checkout?
Use guided UIs, progressive disclosure, minimal friction, analytics-driven iteration, and performance optimization to avoid drop-offs and improve activation metrics.

  6. How do you collaborate across product, design, and marketing in a growth-focused team?
I align early via kickoffs, share mocks/prototypes, get feedback quickly, ensure data instrumentation is scoped, and hold async syncs using shared docs, Loom, or Slack.

  7. Describe a growth experiment you ran and what you learned from it.
I tested different onboarding sequences with variations in user education UI; learned that a checklist-based flow with micro-rewards led to 25% higher activation.

  8. What tools do you use for tracking user behavior and growth funnel metrics?
I’ve used Amplitude, Mixpanel, Segment, Google Analytics, and custom SQL dashboards to monitor onboarding, activation, conversion, and retention patterns.

  9. How do you ensure clean and maintainable code while rapidly iterating on features?
I follow modular architecture, write unit tests, maintain clear naming and comments, use linters/prettier, and refactor when repeated patterns emerge.

  10. Why does Meshy’s mission and product space interest you as an engineer?
Combining generative AI with 3D creativity aligns with my passion for visual tools and frontier tech, and the challenge of optimizing high-impact user growth in a cutting-edge space excites me.
