The role

We're looking for a Frontend-Focused Fullstack Engineer to craft extraordinary user experiences that will transform scientific research! In this key role, you'll be the driving force behind interfaces that make breakthrough discoveries possible.
You'll build compelling visualizations that turn complex crystallographic data into intuitive insights, design interfaces that scientists actually love to use, and push the boundaries of what's possible in scientific software. Your code will enable researchers worldwide to accelerate materials innovation in ways previously unimaginable.

You should apply if you

Have 5 or more years of professional software development experience with strong emphasis on frontend development.
Have expert knowledge of React, Shadcn UI, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
Have working knowledge of backend development with Node.js and RESTful APIs.
Show a good understanding of responsive design principles.
Enjoy visualization data with libraries (D3.js, plotly.js, or similar).
Are familiar with cloud services (AWS) and containerization (Docker).
Have an eye for design and passion for creating intuitive user experiences.
Can write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
