Position Overview:

This is a vacancy for a hybrid or on-site role at one of our HQs. We encourage applications from all qualified candidates, regardless of gender identity. 

As we continuously expand and improve our Data Platform, we are seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer (m/f/x) to join our Product & Engineering department. 

This department is responsible for the design, development and growth of our Data Platform as well as our Data Network and connected Data Products. We are in the process of merging our core products into a single, unified, platform and are looking for key engineering talent to join our teams. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing new capabilities, improving existing capabilities and guiding less experienced team members with the goal to grow their technical expertise.

You’ll get to take ownership of:
  • Leading the technical and visual design, development, and deployment of key components of our Data Platform.
  • Participating in code reviews and contributing to improving code quality across the team.
  • Mentoring junior and intermediate-level team members, providing technical guidance and feedback.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams such as Product Management to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
We’d love to meet someone with:
  • 7+ years of experience in HTML5 front-end development, with a strong focus on Angular2+ and TypeScript. Experience with Vaadin is a plus, but not required.
  • Familiarity with Java (server backend) is recommended, but not mandatory.
  • Experience with test automation using tools like JUnit or Jasmine.
  • Exposure to integration models and protocols such as HTTP, REST, GraphQL, AS2, or similar.
  • A solid understanding of software design patterns and best practices.
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to think in high-level abstractions and apply object-oriented programming principles.
  • Clear and effective communication skills in English. German is a plus but not required.
